I Want to Go Home! is a stand-alone novel by Gordon Korman about two friends, Rudy Miller and Mike Webster, who are sent to summer camp against their wishes. Wacky hijinks ensue as the boys try repeatedly to escape Camp Algonkian Island (or "Alcatraz," as Rudy quickly dubs it) and return home.
Fanworks tend to center around the slash pairing of Rudy/Mike and are often futurefic involving the boys returning as campers or counselors.
