High Voltage, was a zine planned to feature fanart of the Haikyuu!! characters Suna Rintarō, Komori Motoya, and Washio Tatsuki. The project was discontinued during creator recruitment due to overlap with the failure of Sincerely Yours (Haikyuu Zine).

About

Interest checks opened on January 26, 2022 and ended on Feburary 27, 2022. Contributor applications opened on March 1, 2022 and were expected to end on April 3, 2022.

On March 26, 2022, the mods posted the following statement announcing the departure of one of their mods Vali from the project for her involvement in Sincerely Yours (Haikyuu Zine) as well as application extensions:

The EJP Mod team is aware of the current issues surrounding one of our mods in regards to another project she has participated in. Given the circumstances, Vali has voluntarily stepped down from her position and is no longer a mod for EJP Zine.

We are currently in the process of onboarding a new Shipping/Production mod, Cara, and to accommodate the process, we will be extending contributor applications and adjusting our original zine schedule by two weeks. The new contributor application deadline will be April 17th.

We hope that we can assuage any concerns that the community may have and we promise we are working together to ensure that we can produce and create an amazing product showcasing the incredible works of all those involved. Thank you for your patience during this time.[1]

Shortly after, on April 2, 2022, the remaining mods announced they were discontinuing the project and released the following statement:

After much discussion, the EJP mod team has decided that due to the overlap of multiple mods between another project and the EJP zine, it is best to dissolve the High Voltage: an EJP Raijin Zine project for now.

This has been an incredibly difficult decision to make, however, we believe this is for the best. There is a possibility of reviving this project after things have been resolved & some time has passed, but we are unable to guarantee this at this time.

Thank you to all the applications we have received -- your hard work has not gone unrecognized. We apologize for any inconveniences during this time and we thank you for your patience while we worked on this situation.

- Ana, Cara, Hannah, Ion, and Lin[2]
