Summary
Gabriel’s most recent plan backfires spectacularly, changing the game in a major way. With the world seemingly collapsing around him, the situation becomes even worse as Nathalie is akumatized into an out-of-control villain, hellbent on breaking his heart. When the chance to make things right appears, will Gabriel rise to the challenge? Or are his growing feelings too much for him to handle?

what to say? i LOVE this so far! first of all, the start had me on the edge of my seat instantly! Gabriel’s urgency and concern for Nathalie’s well being will always be something i adore. i also love the concept of what would happen if Nathalie quit or was fired. how much everything would change and how hurt everyone would be bc of it. Then the confession?! 😍 that’s the angstiest confession i think ive seen and it was SO GOOD!cannot wait to keep reading this!

I don't think there's anything in this story that I dislike. Everything is marvelous and compelling. As always, you got me on the verge of tears.
And "the talk" between Gabriel and Adrien was so emotive, surprisingly enough, funny. Gabriel was there, pouring his heart and Adrien explaining to him the things of the heart. It is just me or the roles were reversed? Shouldn't it be the father giving advice to his teen son. When Adrien kicked him from his bedroom I almost fell from the chair. And Adrien is so mature. You wrote him unbelievably well. You are an amazing writer. Thank you.

This is utterly gorgeous!
It deserves a better review than this but honestly I'm still just in the emotional reaction stage-I had to put the phone down a few times to process this as I read it because it's just too intense.
And urgh, I like that you were brave enough to have Gabriel be just as terrible as he's capable of being at the start but also that you've a very deft hand at letting the reader be aware of his subconscious feelings even when he isn't.
And of course the dramatic irony with Chat Noir is perfect.
And using the Snake Miraculous was such a good idea! I kind of wish I had the art skills to imagine that costume!
And if you were going for that the 90s/Goth vibes to Heartbreaker are really clever for something that could have been an influence on Nathalie growing up.
And the finale was really sweet and it totally worked to have this hesitant gradual start for their relationship.

Other things caught up with me over the past few days, and reading this story was constantly on my mind.The wait to read this story was worth it, and I've been excited to read this since I saw the preview for it! I loved the way you wrote all the characters in this, and I couldn't stop reading after a certain point. The way you wrote Nathalie and Gabriel's emotions were incredible, and their argument at the beginning was very in character! Not to mention Adrien's feelings and time in the story ahh! There were so many points where I just pictured it in my head perfectly. This was a fantastic story, and I can't thank you enough for writing this! Thank you for this story, and thank you for participating in the GabeNath Minibang! ^^
