Bodie is an enforcer and duty bound to the Federated Worlds as part of the Law and Order Machine. He has been given a new partner in the shape of Doyle. Both of them are telepathic, though only one of them is Human. Bodie is a 'droid. The story is told in first person from Bodie's point of view. Showing how he slowly starts to question his beliefs in the system. Finding that the whole foundation of his life and career is corrupt. [1]
