Four Seasons: A Word of Honor Zine is a 2021 Word of Honor anthology zine containing fanart and fanfiction. Both a print and digital version were published, and related fan merchandise could be ordered with the print edition. The print zine shipped in late 2021.[3]

The zine was designed to be safe for work, with "canon ships" (including WenZhou) allowed.[4]

The stories were also podficced, with the podfics made available as a downloadable anthology. Some of the stories and podfics were also posted on AO3 by their creators, though the AO3 collection is incomplete.

The print zine and bundled merch were sold at cost; there were plans to donate any extra funds to charity, but no specific charity was designated[5], and it seems no funds were leftover at the end.

Origins

According to the introduction in the zine itself, the zine was originally conceived by a group of friends in a Discord server in May 2021, during the height of the fandom's active period, soon after the drama and official concert had aired. It was the first Word of Honor zine, at least in the English-speaking fandom.

Orders

Over 600 fans ordered a print zine.[9]

Fans had a choice of four bundles, most of which came with various merch designed by fanartists.[10] Price estimates on Bigcartel in October 2021:[11]

Fan Response

The zine had an Etsy shop, where 369 sales occurred. Fans left five-star ratings and positive reviews[16]:
