Edgar Allan Poe’s Murder Mystery Dinner Party is a kickstarted web series produced by Shipwrecked Comedy in 2016.

Edgar Allan Poe throws a murder mystery dinner party to impress the beautiful Annabel Lee. He invites some of the world's most renowned authors. Things go awry when someone actually gets murdered... [1]
The series consists of a single season of 11 episodes and has in its cast many actors known from other YouTube projects. There are also a couple of extra short videos and behind the scenes on Shipwrecked's YouTube channel.
In 2020, Shipwrecked did a switcheroo reading of the script for Halloween.

Fandom
Initially, a good part of the Poe Party fandom consisted of Shipwrecked fans or other cast members' fans. It also overlapped with other web series like The Lizzie Bennet Diaries. Mary-Kate Wiles from Shipwrecked was also a star in LBD. Just like in LBD, the fandom was very active on tumblr, especially when the episodes were being released.
