Colorful Beginnings is a digital zine dedicated to the original trilogy of Ace Attorney and themed around colors.
About
Colorful Beginnings is an unofficial Trilogy zine to showcase scenes of the first three Ace Attorney games in a colorful manner. It's a canon compliant zine that will not have any scenes from games outside the Trilogy.[1]
Interest checks for the zine began on December 20, 2021, and ended on January 19, 2022[2]. Over 90 responses were reported to have been submitted[3].
Contributor applications for page artists, writers, and merch artists ran from January 26 to February 25, 20222[4]. Results were sent out on March 16, 2022[5]. The project reopened applications from October 6 to October 12, 2022, to gather pinch hitters due to complications in the zine's creation process[6].
The zine was released on January 26, 2023, through a link to a Google Drive file[7].
