Claire Beauchamp/Jamie Fraser is the most popular pairing in Outlander fandom.

Oddly enough, Jamie Fraser and Claire Fraser don't have a mainstream ship name similar to most fandoms. Canon is typically followed within the Outlander community for this duo.

Canon Relationship

Claire is a time traveling WW2 nurse who goes on a second honeymoon with her husband Frank Randall to reconnect after being separated for roughly 7 years. However, on a trip to get forget me nots by the stones, Claire ends up touching one of the stones and is transported into 1745 Scotland. Once she's there she ends up putting her medical skills to use to help aid Jamie with his arm.

Claire helping to aid in Jamie's healing process is what the duo close together and caused the two of them to become protective of one another, something neither expected. As time passed a set of circumstances caused the two to wed. The wedding episode in the show and the chapter in the book are considered to be in the top 10(typically it's ranked 1st or 2nd) best Jamie and Claire events.

When the first book in the Outlander series the fans concluded that Jamie and Claire were the perfect couple.

On May 6th, 2016 a book published by KC Dyer called, Finding Fraser. Where the lead in the book is frustrated that she can't find her own Jamie Fraser as he's set the bar so high for her that every man paled in comparison.
