Some Excerpts

This past season [is what I'd change about the show]. I've lost my enthusiasm for the show and I'm not sure whether it's a change in me or the change in the show. I know people get tired of hearing fans always lamenting "It's not the same as it used to be," but it's not. I'm hoping changes in the eighth season will be for the positive, but right now I have mixed feelings about it. I'd be happy with a little continuity, a little bit of acknowledgment of things that have happened in the past, and a little M/S necking. <g>

I'd been reading fic for about six months, but I didn't think I'd have the desire to write it. Watching "Detour" one day, I had a craving to know how Mulder and Scully would act at one of those touchy-feely team building things. I could picture it all in my head, and then I realized, hey, I could write a fanfic. So, I did. It took me about two weeks to write it and another two months to get up the nerve to post it.

"Playing Goddess" by Shalimar [was the first XF I read]. I thought it was stupid. I couldn't believe people actually sat around writing about television characters having sex. Those people needed to get a life, for gosh sake. I couldn't stop reading the stuff, though, and spent the whole summer reading fanfic, mostly smut. I guess you could say I don't think it's stupid anymore. :)
