Bright Eyes: A GoYuu Zine is an 18+ charity zine about the pairing Gojo Satoru/Itadori Yuuji between the characters Gojo Satoru and Itadori Yuuji from Jujutsu Kaisen.

About

The project first launched under the name Bittersweet Tragedy, beginning their interest check on May 9, 2021 to May 31, 2021. Mod applications began May 31, 2021, but did not finish successfully. On June 16, 2021, the project was put on pause and promised to return with a new concept [1].

The zine returned on June 26, 2021 with a new schedule, new title, and new design that would continue to be used to the end of the project [2]. Contributor applications opened on September 15, 2021 and ended on October 13, 2021.

Preorders ran from March 11, 2022 to April 22, 2022 with the following pricing tiers:

  • Out of Touch ($10 USD) - Digital Zine
  • Limitless Inventory ($25 USD) - Charms, Die-Cut Stickers, Sticker Sheets, Prints
  • Within Reach ($25 USD) - Physical Zine, Digital Zine
  • Eternal Bonds ($45 USD) - Physical Zine, Digital Zine, Charms, Prints, Sticker Sheets, Die-Cut Stickers

A digital add-on to these purchases was called Concealed Vision contained an PDF with R18, dark, and sensitive content for the price of $8 USD. As stretch goals, a themed button would be added to physical orders if the project reached 35 orders, and at 70 Orders, physical orders would receive a print of the zine's cover.

All orders were announced to be ship by June 25, 2022, and digital zines were sent out at June 28, 2022. However, no leftover sales were conducted due to undisclosed circumstances in the shipping mod's life [3].

The project closed with an announcement that $582.38 USD was donated to Charity Vision International [4].
