Reviews

Azkaban contains several stories, both gag and serious. Gag stories include Remus handing out chocolate on the Hogwarts Express following the Dementor incident. His stomach growls loudly, and the students all try to give him his chocolate back. Another gag story involves Sirius sneaking onto Hogwarts grounds to see Harry -- floating in the moat and dressed as a giant squid. In the main tale, Harry asks Remus what he thinks about when conjuring his Patronus. Remus tells of how as a child, he secluded himself from everyone, thinking that they would hate him. Sirius and James burst through the window of the Shrieking Shack where Remus had been hiding and chide him for thinking that they hate him. Remus tells Harry that, when he conjures his Patronus, he thinks of the light from the window and James and Sirius' smiling faces.[5]

[Azkaban no Yoru] has several stories in it, all focussed [sic] around PoA. The first ones are gag, involving chocolate and Padfoot. The last one though is really adorable. It starts off with Harry and Lupin talking, and Harry asks Lupin what memory he uses to generate a Patronus. And Lupin tells him the story of how James and Sirius broke in on him one night in the Shrieking Shack while he was brooding about his sad fate. He was shocked as they confronted him with their knowledge, and terrified — but then they both smiled at him and were still his friends, even though he was a werewolf. It is really just the cutest damn thing, and the expression on Sirius’ face is priceless. XD[6]
