wanderection is a members-only LiveJournal community for the One Direction fandom. The only public post was made the day the community was created.
According to the community profile, members could post "news, pictures, articles, videos, whatever your heart desires".[1] Rules:
- Do not flame or bash other members.
- Posts should be One Direction-related.
- No hotlinking.
- Please, no introduction posts.
- Check the tags before requesting something.
- Provide a link for embedded content.
- If you know your post will disrupt members' friends page, it must be behind an LJ cut.
- Promoting must be approved by a mod.
- If you do not like a comment left in your entry, do not delete it. The mods will decide what is inappropriate.[1]
A tumblr associated with the community was also created, following the fuckyeah naming convention popular at the time: fuckyeahwanderection. The tumblr account features a variety of photos and gifsets of band members. It was last updated in 2014, but most active 2011-2012.
As of February 2022, the LiveJournal community has 416 posts; 4,900 comments; and 1,186 members.[1]
