Who am I? I’m Jimmy Stafford, and I’d prefer everyone outside of SFFAU and the LU call me Starry. I’m a bowler, a Spyro fanatic, a Warriors fanboy, a full and proud member of the Literate Union, a critical reviewer, a bowler, and most of all, a lover. I’m a hopeless romantic beyond all belief, and I like it that way. There are a few things that need to be explained:
1) I am not new to writing, nor am I new to constructive criticism. If I say you’re doing something wrong, you’re fucking doing it wrong. See the review section near the bottom for more info.
2) I have a tight group of friends that stick with me through anything. This means if you fuck with them, you fuck with me.
3) So, Starry Jay Firering? Well, I get my name from a few things. People in elementary school call me Star for whatever reason. My bestest friend in the worlds' name is Shadow Firering, so there you go. Jay is because of my actual name.
4) I am gay. No regrets. Try me.
5) Do you have a problem with me? See the Problems section of my profile below.
6) Yes, I am a part of the Literate Union (LU). That does not mean I agree with or condone all that they do. If you have a problem with LU, kindly do not include all LU members as a generalization.
7) I have no personal involvement or agreement with RedBootton.

Color- Starry has purple and sea blue scales with dark blue fur.
Eye color- My eyes are light-ish blue.
Sex- I’m pretty sure I’m a guy.
Height- On all fours: 3 feet. On my back legs, I’m around 6 feet tall.
Weight- I’m about 185 pounds.
Wingspan- About 1 foot 4 inches.
Element- I am an Astral dragon, meaning I harness the power of space and Earth.
Tail tip- My tail tip is a tiny little rainbow~
School- Yes, I have it. Yes, it sucks. Yes, that is what takes up most of the time I use to write stories during the end of the year…
Job- Uh, none. Well, I am a Microsoft certified professional, an Adobe master, and an AutoDesk whiz. Computer problems? Ask me!
Intelligence- I'm smart, except on my slow days… or past 11 PM.
Likes- I love writing stories, reviewing, reading, listening to music, and fixing up computers. I also enjoy beta-ing some of the new versions of Microsoft software, and beta-reading stories!
Dislikes- Smacktards, school, Twilight (a fat girls decision between beastiality and necrophilia), people who refuse to comply with FFN Guidelines, shiz like that.
Favorite color- Orange. :D
Reviewing Policy
Below are examples of my reviewing style when the following apply:
I see you are serious about improving your writing, and you violate no FFN Guidelines.
Your story is in violation of the Guidelines, and is generally poorly written.
If you are not on good terms with me and your story violates the Guidelines, I will be very blunt. The review may not have critique, other than saying the story is against the rules. If you reply to this type of review wanting to learn, I will be glad to teach you.
Note that if you respond wanting to learn, and your story violates the Guidelines, I will critique it to the best of my ability.
There is no “for-certain” format my reviews run by. My review to you might be one of the above or something in the middle. If you question things I state in my review, please PM. I do not block anyone from personal communications with me.
Some of you ask “Why me?” when you receive a review signed with my penname, stating you violate the FFN rules.
I pick the stories I review/report at random. They are often found by reading through the summaries of my home archive. If you’re going to break the rules, at least be subtle and don’t put in your summary “SCRIPT FIC DON’T LIKE DON’T READ” in all caps.
When I review a story and state you are in violation of the FFN Guidelines, I generally wait two to three days before reporting the story, except in cases of plagiarism. If you reply in “less than a positive light,” I will report you, and forward links to several forums if I have not done so already.
Who would have guessed the solution was so simple? Remove the fiction in question, or refrain from violating the Guidelines you agreed to!
Note that blocking me prevents me from having any communication with you, including reviews, PMs, etc. Do not ask for a reply from me if I am blocked from communications with you!!
