You can call me Fens. I am in AEST and currently very into exchange modding.
Fannish History
Fandom has always felt like a part of my life: my mum was an avid fic writer before I was born. I used to think her Tumblr title was "Archive Of Our Own", since I saw it open on the computer frequently and I knew she used Tumblr a lot! I first stumbled into fandom myself via the Spirit Animals forums when I was very young, which have since been taken down; this was my first exposure to fanfic, roleplay, et cetera. From then until late 2018 I only interacted with fandom with my close friends on Discord; then I got a tumblr, then an ao3, and everything spiralled.
Now I am a podficcer and fic writer, as well as occasionally dipping my toes into other media such as poetry, filk, scriptfic and occasionally even art. I also mod exchanges and other events such as the Summer of Sci-Fi/Summer of Sorcery annual exchange and the Solstice Holiday Exchange. Once I get over the stage fright that makes itself known every time I try to edit Fanlore, it's all over for you bitches.
My blanket permission statement regarding transformative works:
You do not have to ask me first before creating non-commercial, non-profit transformative or derivative works based on my own fanworks. (For-charity is OK!) This statement is inclusive of fic, podfic, translations, fanart, filk, remixes, bookbinds, and more. However, please credit fensandmarshes (me) as an inspiration/source/whatever other word you feel fits best, and please link back to my work. If you are posting on Ao3, please use the Related Works/Inspired By feature. If you are posting on a site other than Ao3, please leave me a comment so that I can find it and link to it in the notes!
If you are transforming, podficcing or otherwise creating something that derives from a fanwork of mine which is, itself, transformative or derivative, please also get permission from the creator of the work I transformed for your fanwork of my fanwork of their fanwork. Additionally, if you are transforming/etc a work of mine which has collaborators or co-creators, please ensure all of them have similar blanket permission statements to mine, or seek permission from them if they do not.
