The Mandela Catalogue is an "analog horror" series on Youtube with a contentious fandom. In the series, shape-shifting "Alternates" can manipulate media and coerce their victims to kill themselves.
One fan, tmcfirewatch, made an account to expose and harass what he thought were the problematic people in the fandom. This resulted in real-world violence against some fans.
