meta/discourse to add?

fail_fandomanon occasionally complains about an attitude they run into on twitter or tumblr (?) where some parts of Untamed fandom treat the censorship of the show as asexual representation or think it's better than the novel for not being explicit?[1][2] I don't know how prominent these discussions are compared to other meta topics (it could be the same person still complaining about one really bad take they saw in 2019). Maybe a section that lists/describes popular discussion topics could be added in addition to the existing section that links to specific meta essays.--aethel (talk) 22:41, 23 February 2023 (UTC)

Fans of The Untamed get mad at fanfiction about the actor and report AO3 to the government, getting AO3 blocked in China; archive link (2020) --MPH 18:39, 1 April 2024 (UTC)

It's already listed on the Blocking of AO3 in China page, and it's not really about The Untamed fandom--they were fans of actor Xiao Zhan, and they targeted RPF fans. I added a sentence about the block on the page here.--aethel (talk) 22:53, 5 April 2024 (UTC)
