Author info for this entry and cover image probably falls under the policy on Pre-1995 Fan Name Use. --Kiwisue 05:31, 24 May 2010 (UTC)

well, Brenda A. already has an entry under that name, Shayne McCormack is listed under that name on a number of other zines, same for Maree Celeste, the only name that only appears here and not elsewhere in the wiki is Marian Hall. In practice we have left full names on pre-1995 zines if they appear on other zine indexes/resource sites that are also online and google indexed unless there have been specific requests or we know the fan now goes under a different online name etc, because it is a bit pointless to shorten names here when we just c&p'ed the info from say the B7 zine lists or Trek zine index or the like (that aren't small or obscure either) in the first place.--RatCreature 08:26, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
Short answer - one of the above has previously stated that she does not want a connection between her real name (which is given here) and her fanworks. While possibly not an issue for this story collection, other zines carrying her real name link to archived stories under her fan name. --Kiwisue 12:30, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
So it would probably best to just replace every instance of her RL name with the fan name for consistency and obscure it on the covers where it shows, yes? Then the RL name owuld not appear here at all, and the linked online versions wouldn't be a problem. That was done for example in the case of April Valentine when a preference to use that rather than the RL visible on the zines was expressed.--RatCreature 13:22, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
ETA: also it is best to do this kind of thing through an admin request, because they can expunge the history, otherwise the name would still be there in the old archived versions, even if a regular user edited it on the pages.--RatCreature 13:27, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
Nods. And linking the various psueds/names together under one should be done in connection with any deletion/expunging so the data is not lost and links broken. So make certain whomever is fulfilling the admin request has all the data they need and has help (if needed) to connect before deletion.--Morgandawn 14:55, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for the response. I agree with using admin request for resolution, however current policy is "open a discussion on the relevant Talk Page to solicit the input of other editors ". I have let the fan in question know about the entry and also this discussion.
