Talk:Shinsengumi

It's not a big deal to me either way, but this isn't a trope; it's a weird umbrella fandom. People describe themselves as being in "shinsengumi fandom". Franzeska 23:12, 20 October 2011 (UTC)

These types of historica-era-focused fandoms seem to be all over the place a bit. "Western" is a trope/genre, "Steampunk" is a glossary term, and "Age of Sail" is a fandom... I suppose if 'Buddy Cop Fandom' can be listed as a fandom, this can be listed as a fandom. -- Liviapenn 01:16, 21 October 2011 (UTC)
