I've never written about a current event on fanlore so if any editors with more experience want to rearrange/rewrite parts then please go for it. I also wasn't totally sure what to name this either so I just based in on AO3 Content Discussion (2016), again feel free to change it.

Much of the discussion that happened on twitter (and tumblr to a degree) was written about in these roundups if anyone wants further context, though I'm sure there are other voices with differing opinions out there as well! Magpie (talk) 01:35, 10 July 2020 (UTC)
