Change name of page

I would like to suggest changing the page name. The meme is not unique to Tumblr so it would be more comprehensive if it was renamed to Ides of March (Caesar's meme) or Ides of March (meme). What do you think SecurityBreach -- Ellakbhesse (talk) 17:48, 15 March 2022 (UTC)

Yes, I support the suggestion for the reason given above. I think I might prefer Ides of March (meme) to the other option but I would like to hear other voices too before moving the page. -- SecurityBreach (talk) 17:53, 15 March 2022 (UTC)
I really haven't seen it outside of tumblr, with the exception of a couple of tweets from some years ago. Although I did mainly call it "Tumblr" to diferentiate it from the other two Ides of March. So whatever is easier. SandySins
Agree with all of the above. Even though this meme is only on (or most visible on) Tumblr, we don't really disambiguate by platform on Fanlore. So I think the best option is Ides of March (meme). I'll add the Attention Gardeners flag and if there's no disagreement, it will be moved by a gardener in the coming days/weeks. --21:35, 15 March 2022 (UTC)
Yea SandySins there are other articles with that name, but as you may have seen there is a disambiguation page to inform and differentiate them -- Ellakbhesse (talk) 22:43, 15 March 2022 (UTC)
I'd like to add that although most memes probably originated on tumblr, some of them seem to have migrated to other platforms, e.g twitter, facebook, etc., where they are also understood. So the meme might be extremely popular on tumblr, but it's no longer exclusive to the platform (I'm not even sure if it ever was). -- SecurityBreach (talk) 07:25, 18 March 2022 (UTC)
Moved page. -- SecurityBreach (talk) 01:35, 20 March 2022 (UTC)

I vaguely remember seeing Ides of March memes on facebook over 10 years ago, because I was a classics nerd in high school. Not sure I could dig up any examples though, I don't have an FB account anymore. The way Tumblr *talks* about it (and makes it "our thing") might be a little different, but I think a lot of the memes themselves are pretty similar to what I remember.
