Does Life On Mars count? The dynamic wasn't precisely 'buddies', and yet. --Betty 15:14, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

I didn't watch the show, so I don't know. Was the *core* of the show the main two characters' relationship? Because like, I know a lot of buddy cop fans watched "Homicide" but I wouldn't call that a buddy cop *show*-- it was an ensemble show. (Also, Hot Fuzz should totally be in there. Actually, there should be a section for buddy cop MOVIES and Hot Fuzz should be in that section. You could also add a section on 'buddy cop'-like comics-- Hal/Ollie road trip, Superman/Batman, Power Man/Iron Fist, etc.) -- Liviapenn 15:21, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
When watching I didn't think of it as buddy cop show. Also, does TS count as two lawenforcement agents? I mean, until the end of the series Blair was an Anthropology grad student.--Ratcreature 18:01, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

Maybe it's too obvious. Starsky & Hutch? *g* --Doro 15:18, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

Please, add whatever I didn't think of-- I just wanted to slap this page up before I went to work. *g* -- Liviapenn 15:21, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

FWIW, I don't get the same vibe off Life as I do any of the other shows; Charlie and Dani are partners and friendly, but the show doesn't really revolve around their relationship. I think that Charlie's focus on finding the truth about what happened 12 years ago is what's driving him (and also reconnecting with his wife), not really his partnership with Dani. Am I not seeing a deeper connection? --Arduinna 02:25, 17 November 2008 (UTC)

I took Life out, because I really wasn't seeing the pure buddy vibe, but won't object if someone else puts it back in. --Arduinna 19:40, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
