Sleepless Domain is a magical girl webcomic by Mary Cagle that began in 2014.
Canon
The comic follows magical girls who protect an unnamed City from monsters who get through the city's defensive magic barrier at night. It covers their battles, the risks the magical girls face (up to death), and their lives.

There is a large and very active official discord server, with over 4000 members. The discord regularly coordinates fanwork exchanges, called "ficgames" and "artgames" based on the medium.
Developing OC magical girl characters is a popular activity within the fandom, with a lot of fanart and fic devoted to such OCs as well as canon characters.
Like many magical girl fandoms, femslash is a major focus, though there is also a lot of gen fanwork focusing on teamwork, individual characters, and adventures.
Shipping
Undine/Kokoro, the canon relationship between the two leads of the comic, is the most popular ship in the fandom. Canon relationships between side characters such as Melty Flame/Melty Frost also get some attention. OC-centric shipping seems to be about as prominent at non-canon ships between canon characters.[1]
