SlayMe.com was a fansite the hosted news and multimedia related to the series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. This included episode transcripts, video clips, spoilers and reviews. The site also had an associated forum for discussion.
The site was created by Angela diPrima and Steve Meiner.
SlayMe.com was subject to a C&D and had to remove episode transcripts, their video clips Scenes From The Slayer and other copyrighted material from the site to comply with Fox's demands. Following this the administrators of SlayMe.com decided to host The Bringers, a fan group dedicated to protecting fan sites online.[1] The sites' creators were also outspoken, giving interviews to news media about the studio's crackdown on fansites.[2][3]
