Perachel is possibly the most argued about ship in the Percy Jackson universe. It is the paring of Percy Jackson and Rachel Elizabeth Dare. Its popularity sparked in The Battle of the Labyrinth, then fizzled out by the end of The Last Olympian. It is still a common ship, but as most of the fandom are Percy/Annabeth shippers, it isn't the most popular.

Fanon

While Percy and Rachel may have had a somewhat ambiguous relationship in The Battle of the Labyrinth and in the first part of The Last Olympian, their relationship was settled as platonic by the end of the series. Percy ends up with Annabeth by the end of the PJ&TO series, and their relationship continues into the Heroes of Olympus series.

The Last Olympian

Perachel is definitely a big thing in the beginning of The Last Olympian, when they are on the beach, and Rachel suggests they kiss. At the end, however, Percy and Annabeth kiss, underwater. They are then declared to be dating, both in the short book, The Demigod Diaries, and in the first Heroes of Olympus book, The Lost Hero.
