Man of Steel is a live-action 2013 superhero film. Man of Steel is a reboot of the Superman film series that portrays the character's origin story. Henry Cavill starred as Clark Kent/Kal-El/Superman while Amy Adams starred as Lois Lane.

A sequel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, was released in March 2016. The film is a start of a live-action Justice League team, with Batman and Wonder Woman starring in it.

Canon

The main pairing in the Man of Steel fandom is Clark/Lois. Clark/Bruce, Jor-El/Zod, Clark/Zod, Diana/Clark, Jonathan/Martha, and Lois/Zod are all fairly rare within the fandom. Crossovers between the Marvel Cinematic Movieverse and Man of Steel have appeared, and the pairing Clark/Steve Rogers.
