Some Excerpts

I never watched the show during its original run. I stumbled upon it by accident when TNT first started running it in syndication in the afternoons. After a few shows I was hooked. I've always liked shows with romantic tension and this fit the bill. Not to mention that Superman looked kind of hunky too! Now remember, I'd never seen the show before, so I had no idea who Dean and Teri were. I was new to the internet at that time, but had done a little research on some other shows I enjoyed so one day I typed "Lois and Clark" into the search engine to see what I would find. WOW! I found all sorts of show info, cast biographies, gossip, photographs, and eventually the fanfic. The Fanfic Archive was the first place I found and once I started reading it, I was hooked. About 10 months ago I was introduced to the IRC and, as the layer of dust in my house indicates, spend too much time there.

My stories have been short, frothy, WAFFY bits of fluff with short gusts of angst. I've also contributed to both the Silly Revelations and the L&C Musicals, wrote one Tank ending (it was a beginning really), and even wrote part of a naughty little Round-Robin-type story based around the episode "It's a Small World After All."

I've always admired anyone who could put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) and craft a tale. And until recently that talent eluded me completely. As I said earlier, I gave away quite a few ideas before I finally wrote a story of my own. The idea just popped into my head, and with the help of some great editors and beta-readers, it became a reality. I think that reading so much great fanfic on all the sites attracted me to the idea. I kept thinking, "I want to do that too." And I suppose I enjoy a sense of accomplishment and personal satisfaction from writing a story. Oh...and another thing...I enjoy continuing the Lois and Clark adventure!
