Controversy
In 2023, Kroalias was at the center of a controversy involving dozens of in-progress zine projects that were delayed. The list of in-progress zines on Kroalias's carrd at the time included 41 zines in a variety of fandoms, but mostly in the Genshin Impact fandom.[1] Many of the zines Kroalias was involved in at this time posted threads on Twitter about the reasons for their delays, and many of the zines replaced Kroalias with another mod to get their projects over the finish line. In some cases, as Kroalias was the shipping mod, zine product had been shipped to Kroalias but not packaged and sent to customers for extended periods of time.

This controversy was discussed in conversation with other zine controversies like the one involving the SHOWTIME Persona zine mod embezzling zine funds - however, there is no evidence Kroalias embezzled zine funds, only that the zines were delayed through inaction.
