Kimberly Kaplan was a BNF for boy band Dream Street after her time in Hanson fandom, where she learned coding. She started the first Dream Street fansite within a month of the band's debut and went on to be the president of their official fan club for two years. Her website, Down On Dream Street or DODS, won the award for "#1 Best Fansite For Anything Of All Time" in Popstar! Magazine, a print magazine distributed in brick-and-mortar bookstores, grocery stores, etc. After her time as president of the Dream Street fan club, she went on to be the leader of former member Greg Raposo's Street Team and coordinated fan campaigns across the United States that resulted in concert venues booking Raposo for shows (which is the ultimate goal of a Street Team). She also webmastered Greg Raposo's official website for many years (from at least 1999 until at least 2005).

Kaplan curtailed her fannish activities when she went to college. She is now an Emmy Award-winning news journalist and documentarian who works in marketing for Netflix.[1]

2003 Biography

As archived on Down On Dream Street.

Here the the most frequently asked questions, if you don't see yours answered, feel free to EMAIL ME.

Question: Do you know Dream Street personally?

Answer: It's funny, when this site first started I could have easily said no...but, by now, I guess that's not the answer anymore.

Question: Who is your favorite member of Dream Street?

Answer:Wouldn't you like to know? ;oP

Question: Are you really going out with Greg?

Answer: I get asked this 10 times a day. NO!!!!!

Question: What was the best DS event you've attended?

Answer: Some are better than others. Towards the top of my list are the Jerry Lewis Telethon, Oscar Meyer (aw my first time), King of Prussia Mall, Rockaway Mall, Washington DC, the Holiday Concert and all the PA fun in December.

Question: Can I use the pictures on your site?

Answer: As long as you EMAIL ME first and keep the tiny tags on our pics, I don't mind at all, but please ask first. Thanks!

Question: Do you work for Dream Street?

Answer: I guess in a sense. I am the webmaster for Greg's official website, www.gregraposo.com (go check it out!), one of the co-leaders of the Official Dream Street Street Team (with Karissa who is 30000 times better at it than me), I write for the Dream Street Magazine, and I think that's about it.

Question: Can I have Dream Street's email address?

Answer:Nope-- the guys don't talk to fans online. You can email Greg at [email protected], but aside from that none of them have email addresses.
