Hollyleaf is a main charcter in the Warrior Cats series.

Canon

Hollyleaf is one of three protagonists in the The Power of Three arc, along with her brothers Lionblaze and Jayfeather.

Her most famous moments as a character come in the last two books of the arc. In a moment simply known to the fans as "the fire scene," Ashfur corners Squirrelflight, Hollyleaf, and her siblings during a forest fire. Ashfur, a former mate of Squirrelflight, declares that he is going to murder her children as revenge for breaking up with him all those years ago, so that she can suffer like he did. Squirrelflight, in an attempt to stop Ashfur from killing them, then reveals a secret. While originally believed to be the children of Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw, Squirrelflight reveals that Hollyleaf, Lionblaze, and Jayfeather are the children of her sister, Leafpool and Crowfeather. The relationship is doubly illegal in the laws governing the clans, since the relationship across clan borders and involves a medicine cat having kits. The bid to protect the siblings works, as Ashfur lets them go, declaring that revealing this information to all the clans will hurt just as much as death.

Learning that her existence goes against The Warrior Code, something that Hollyleaf respected and revered, shook her to her core. After weeks of uncertainty waiting for Ashfur to reveal the secret to the clans, she ambushes him while he's drinking at a river, killing him. Despite successfully preventing the secret from getting out, she continues spiraling, eventually deciding to reveal it to the clans herself. Afterwards, she flees the scene to meet her biological mother, Leafpool. She threatens her with poisonous berries, telling her that she should kill herself. This is deeply ineffective, Hollyleaf being the erratic and panicked party while Leafpool remains calm during the situation. Convinced against murdering her biological mother, Hollyleaf leaves again, running into a series of tunnels and caves which collapse behind her.

That series of events likely comprises an astonishing percentage of fan animations.
