Arrowverse is the fanon glossary term to represent the shared universe between Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, Constantine, Vixen, Freedom Fighters: The Ray and Batwoman.

Originally "Flarrow" was used as a fanon glossary term to represent the Arrow and The Flash universe as early as June 2014.[1] Although the fandom overall hadn't agreed on the name of the universe until the actual crossover episodes between Flash[2] and Arrow,[3] fans started using the tag and term more consistently after the episodes aired. Arrowverse became a more prominent title to refer to the shared universe as more shows started premiering as spin-offs of Arrow.

"Legends of Flarrow" was used to apply to the crossover between Arrow, Flash, and their spin-off Legends of Tomorrow. "Superflash" was for the crossover for Flash and CBS's Supergirl and also the pairing of Barry Allen/Kara Danvers. "Superflarrow" was for the crossover for Arrow, Flash and Supergirl. "Legends of Superflarrow" has been used to describe the crossover between Arrow, Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl. With Supergirl joining the CW network for Fall 2016, more official crossovers between the various series started appearing such as "Invasion!" and "Crisis on Earth-X".

Batwoman appears in the "Elseworlds" crossover event between Arrow, Flash, and Supergirl. In October 2019, Batwoman gained its own television show, expanding the Arrowverse even more.

The "Crisis on Infinite Earths" Arrowverse crossover event also includes actor and actress tie-ins from various DC related television shows and films including Black Lightning, Smallville, Superman Returns, Birds of Prey, Batman (1966), and Batman: The Animated Series. While Brandon Routh portrayed Superman in Superman Returns, in Crisis he portrays a Kingdom Come version of the character along with his normal Arrowverse Ray Palmer character. Fans of the various fandoms/characters that are set to appear in the crossover event were very excited to see them again.
