Does this category cover discussion forums other than journaling communities, such as mailing lists and discussion boards on websites?--æthel 00:57, 14 May 2010 (UTC)

I think it should. OTOH I'm not sure an online newsletter is a "community" in any sense but the technical that they are posted to journaling comms. I think considering that there are a good number of specialized HP newsletters, we could have a category "Harry Potter Newsletters". Right now that would empty this community cat somewhat, as plenty of newsletters have stubs but many other comms not yet, but once more things have pages I don't think there will be any shortage of HP forums that are not newslettters.--RatCreature 07:54, 16 May 2010 (UTC)

There now seems to be enough non-newsletter community pages to split off a Category:Harry Potter Newsletters -- I agree that they're not really "communities" and deserve their own category. I'll go ahead and make it now. --sparc 06:26, 27 June 2012 (UTC)
