AniNite is the largest fan-convention focusing on Japanese youth and pop culture in Austria. The event was founded by a group of approximately 70 fans in 2001 and has continued to grow on an annual basis. AniNite 2011 saw an attendance of over 7000 fans. The event brings together animanga fans from across Austria and surrounding countries.
