About

We are a friendly, low-pressure community of writers and artists who want to explore and develop their writing and/or drawing skills. We were inspired mainly by the 30_kisses and 30_angsts communities, as well as by all those incredible 30 themes coms out there.

Order: Themes do not have to be written in any particular order. All you need do is complete 30 of them.

Interpretation: Feel free to interpret each theme however you wish. Just remember, the general theme of 30_losses is, obviously, loss. It doesn't need to be the focal point, but it must be in there one way or another. The interpretation of what constitutes as loss, however, is entirely up to you.

Style: The style of your entries is completely up to you. For authors, it can be as short as a 100 word drabble or haiku, or as long as a multi-chaptered novel. For artists, it can be a full watercolor or the five-minute sketch you did before class. All that's important is capturing the feeling of the theme.

Works in Progress:

WIPs? Bring 'em all on! WIPs are a beautiful thing, and what better way to tackle them than with a nice big healthy dose of loss and ensuing angst?

Claims: Wanna claim a couple? Wanna claim a character? Wanna claim a series? You can do it all. Don't worry if someone's already got your couple. Honestly, you're not going to write the exact same fic, and if you do, someone's been plagiarisin'. Oh, when a couple/fandom/person/series is claimed, it counts for both writing and art. No one is required to do both, but it's definitely encouraged.

Specifics:

Original characters, original stories, OCs with fandom characters, crossovers between two fandoms, RP fiction, AU stories, drabbles, flash fictions, short stories, novelas, novels, epics, poetry, lyrics, screenplays, songfics, etc. are all acceptable. Icons and/or banners are not. (Try iconfiend100 for things such as that.)
