The other moderator and I practice the belief that hate speech needs to be censored because it’s much louder than other kinds of speech. We want that sub to be a safe space for everyone. We’ve only been mods since April and before that there was a pretty deeply entrenched “let’s shit on larries, those crazy freaks” attitude.
