LarryStylinson is a Reddit community for larries, fans who believe that Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson are in a romantic relationship in real life. The "About Community" blurb says, "There comes a time when a blind man takes your hand and says, 'Can't you see?' A community for those who know the truth."[1]
Rules
- Treat people with kindness.
- No reposts, spam, or low effort posts.
- NSFW posts must be marked NSFW.
- No doxxing or posting personal information.
- No posts that seek a debate from larries.
- Provide artist credit for fanart and other types of content.
- Self-promotion is allowed and encouraged if you are a fan artist.
- Posts should be about Larry Stylinson or related to Larry.
- Anti-larries are not allowed on this sub.[1]
Pandemic Effect
As of January 2023, the subreddit has 12K members.[1] According to Everything I Need I Get From You, the subreddit had "fewer than three hundred members from 2012 to 2018, but experienced a growth in membership starting at the beginning of the pandemic."[2] In November 2020, a celebratory mod post announced that the subreddit had reached 4,000 members:
We have had so many new members join in the past 6 months and it has been so fantastic to watch this little corner of Reddit grow into an active, budding community. I love coming here every day and seeing what you guys are discussing or getting excited about, whether that's the Golden MV or any new theories that have come up related to H&L. I know many of us have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and found ourselves spending more time at home during this wild year. Hopefully this subreddit has provided some needed entertainment, distraction, or comfort for those of you who need it.[3]
In February 2021, mods asked for additional mods to join the team. Their list of requirements included "You are currently a larrie and do not foresee yourself no longer being a larrie in the future."[4]
