Midoriya Izuku/Uraraka Ochako is a het ship in the fandom Boku no Hero Academia.

Canon

On the day of the Entrance Exam, using the power of One For All for the first time, Midoriya saves Uraraka, another prospective student, from the large robots which make up the practical exam for U.A., but the application of such great force in his body only breaks the limbs through which it surged. Uraraka Becomes Midoriya's first friend at U.A.

Ochaco turns his once demeaning nickname "Deku" into a positive identity for him, when she said it gave her a "never gives up" vibe. This is because in Japanese, Deku really just refers to "the ability to do something." Bakugo uses this in a negative way to mean "useless, unable to do anything." Whereas Ochako sees this in a positive way, like "You can do it!". Deku gets flustered at Ochako's words and instinctively agrees to call himself Deku. However, later we see that he really takes her perspective to heart, and fully commits to making it his official hero identity.

The ship is close to canon given Uraraka's crush on Deku, which she realizes during the Tournament Arc. She is embarrassed by these feelings, and the topic continues to come up. Toga Himiko, who has a sadistic interest in Deku, taunts her: "You've got the same scent as me. There's someone you're crushing on."
