Reactions & Reviews

Numerous fans have commented on the quality of the writing for individual fanworks in the series, as well as on the emotional devastation they felt while reading.

I've spent the last 2 weeks reading the whole series and omg, what a ride! Ngl it was a bit emotionally draining at times but, still amazing. I love your writing and they way you tell stories, it's just... Wow! I love it and I loved every bit of this, thanks for writing such an amazing story and keep up the great work! 💖💖👌🏻✨[1]

Ten Thousand Pounds of Feathers

I loved this when I read it on FF.net and still love it after reading it again. You have some great dialogue and overall it’s an enjoyable and sad read![2]

This? Has given me? Feelings?!

Holy heck, you're such an amazing writer. The characterizations were on-point, the action was so well-written, I love Nathalie more than life itself and this just hit me with so many feels for her... I love the way this story ended and I look forward to binging the sequel at the speed of light to see what happens next. I can't wait to see how this all comes together, and MMMM I'm hooked! I love this fic so dang much, and I can't wait for more angst to wreck me when I read the sequel :,D.

Awesome job on this story! Keep up the fantastic work! :)[3]

The Beginning of Goodbye

I finished reading this in its entirely yesterday afternoon and I've been reeling since and I knew I had to drop a comment and tell you how genuinely this work touched me. I love Nathalie as a character, for all her vices and virtues - and I think you depicted her so miraculously (hah) in this story. I found myself trying to skip lines, I was so excited to see what plot event led to another. Not to mention how in-depth and sincere the writing itself is! It made me want to open up my Google Docs and begin churning out a story, to give others the same enchanting effect you glamoured me with from the first chapter of Ten Thousand Pounds of Feathers.

I've never read a ML fic like this one and I think it's easily now my favourite - my go-to if I ever have to recommend one to somebody. I remember finding myself turning over in bed, needing a mental respite and muttering to myself, "if the show wasn't "meant" for a younger audience, this fic would make an amazing ML for more mature audiences."

Oh god this comment sounds so stiff but believe me, I really can't tell you how it made me feel.[4]

Just binged part one and two today and going for part three.

I loved your plotting on this version of what happens in this storyline. There are so many versions (which is what makes fics great) but I like that this one keeps it as real as possible.

And I LOVED the last paragraph. Gorgeously written!![5]

Someday, We'll Breathe Again

I can see why you said it was a difficult chapter to write. I was a difficult chapter to read too. But you did it so well.

"Anaïs was pale and speechless and the stain on her gray sweater was blooming like a rose."

This, my dear, is pure poetry and talent. Thank you for gracing us with it.[6]

Just realised I forgot to review but I couldn't leave this without giving a last (sob) review- I literally started to cry when I saw 'The end', the lullaby was just ;-;-;-; and the ending was bittersweet but so amazing. Zoe, this story has been incredibly beautiful from start to finish, and it's been so inspiring. Thank you so much for sharing it and you should be so proud of yourself, honestly I love your writing so much <3 <3

Happy writing![7]
