I'm listing this as a Community primarily because of the forum (though I'm not sure that's still active.) Is that the correct category for fan review sites? Especially in anime fandom, fan-written series/episode summaries, reviews, and recs are often a major part of fanning. Would a review site be better classified as a community or an archive?

--Umm, while I'm at it, is there a more general place for general categorizing questions such as this? I'm fairly inexperienced with Wiki-ing and am not sure where to ask... --Xparrot 08:36, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

I'd probably classify it as both an archive and a community, if there is interactive discussion of the reviews on the site and a community forms around it. You just use the template for the community as the master, and then add [[Category:Websites]][[Category:Archives]] at the bottom of the page. --rache 15:15, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
From your description, it looks like Non-fiction Writing would be a valid category to add, too, and probably Meta for the editorials. As for where to ask... things like that are still being worked out, and right now people are putting questions wherever they think of them. So this is as good a place as any, I think. *g* People keep an eye on the Recent Changes page and generally spot questions as they come up. But you can also use the talk page of the Sitemap for category questions, which is probably the best centralized place. --Arduinna 15:33, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
