Lobo is a DC Comics title and fictional character.

Canon

Lobo first appeared in Omega Men #3 (June 1983), created by Roger Slifer and Keith Giffen. He was initially used as a hardboiled villain in the 1980s, and remained in limbo until his revival as an anti-hero biker with his own comic in the early 1990s.

Lobo's powers include: superhuman senses, strength, stamina and durability, healing factor, immortality, and a genius-level intellect.

He's appeared in Superman: The Animated Series, Justice League Unlimited, Young Justice, and Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths. He was originally going to have his own animated series in 1999, however Kids WB ended up passing on it. It was announced in 2009 that there would be a live-action film of Lobo, however there hasn't been news since 2013 when Dwayne Johnson left the project.

Despite not having his own animated series, Lobo had his own webseries in 2000 which was available on www.loboonline.com. It had 14 episodes.

Fandom

"I have no idea why Lobo took off... I came up with him as an indictment of the Punisher, Wolverine hero prototype, and somehow he caught on as the high violence poster boy. Go figure"[1]

In an interview with Stan Lee, he revealed Lobo was his favorite DC Comics character[2].
