Summary: The Illikai is a safe haven in Honolulu, and Danny will do anything to get there to be with Grace. Steve will stop at nothing for Danny to get to his daughter, even if it involves killing everything in his wake and blood on Danny's tie (which irritates Danny greatly). From timing belts to washcloths and soap, without forgetting golf clubs and tennis rackets, Steve has collected all sorts of weapons to make his and Danny's journey down Ala Moana Boulevard as safe as possible. But that doesn't mean it won't be messy.

Why we love it: The dialogue really shines in this fic written for zombiebang. Steve and Danny's banter is spot on and the arsenal Steve brings to kill zombies with is hilarious. Only Steve would even think that a washcloth could be weaponized. This fic has a video game-like quality and is very funny, but please heed the warnings, because there is a lot of gore.
