La Chica de Ayer is a eight-episode 2009 Spanish remake of Life on Mars by Antena 3. Follows a modern-day police officer, Samuel Santos who finds himself in 1977 post-Franco Spain under the command of the tough old-school policeman Quin Gallardo.
