The 2019 Organization for Transformative Works Board of Directors election took place between June 17 and August 13, 2020.

On June 17, 2019, the candidates for the 2019 OTW Board Election were publicly announced. Four candidates, none of whom had previously served on the Board, contested two available seats. In alphabetical order by given name, the candidates were:

On August 13, 2019, the Elections Committee announced the 2019 Elections Results. Kirsten Wright and Rebecca Sentance (in alphabetical order) were successfully elected to the Board of Directors and began their terms on October 1, 2019.[3]

Members of the public were able to submit questions for the candidates via the Elections Committee and in one candidate chat, involving all three remaining candidates. Candidates responded to three batches of Q&As. [5] [6] [7] [8]

Election Statistics

The 2019 Election had a total of 9939 eligible voters, of whom 2234 cast a ballot, representing 22.5% of potential voters. The number of ballots cast increased from 14.6% of voters in 2018.[9]
