Sci-fi and horror film fan, especially films such as "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" (my all-time fave film), the "Star Wars" series, "Forbidden Planet", "Star Trek: The Motion Picture", "Raiders of the Lost Ark", "Tron" and "Halloween III" to name a few. Love collecting films and old television programmes on DVD and Blu-ray, as well as holding onto a few of my favourite videotape and laserdiscs from the past!

I was a member of "The Moons of Yavin" British Star Wars club from October 1989. Now contributing to content about the club at Fanlore which I'm really enjoying doing! I'm still in contact with a lot of the ex-members, a few of which I am close friends with to this day.

From late 1990 I started to attend comic cons and through that met other fans and collectors, so it became a fun social hobby. Not long after I was able to help out with the running of these events, which lead to helping run Star Wars convention events. I still enjoy attending comic cons and seeing friends, some of which are very talented cosplayers.

Back in the day I used to do lots of drawing....should really do more! I also love classic video gaming, jigsaws, board games, astronomy, coastal walks, and lots of tea and dark chocolate! :)
