Country/Cultural differences
There's a post going around Tumblr gathering replies for worldwide viewpoints on this ship: "Calling All Non-American Reylo Shippers!! What is the shipping/fandom situation like within your own native country? Are there lots of Reylo shippers? Are people hostile to it? Is there another pairing that’s more popular? Reylo Reaching 30k fics on ao3
Reylo reached 30k fics on ao3 on September 10, 2023. To speed it up, reylo fans created reylo 30 days for 30k, a 30 day activity with one prompt per day. https://twitter.com/ischillingout/status/1693236500274569392 The goal was achieved on the 10th day of the event and the tag #reylo30for30 was a trend on twitter. Would someone be so kind as to add these to the "Art Gallery" section under PandaCapuccino? Also please change the caption "Can't Resist You by pandacapuccino.jpg" to "Can't Resist You by pandacapuccino." Or it might be safe to unlock the page given that the vandalism spree was months ago. - Done. The fanart gallery is helpfully in order by artist name (thank you!), and that makes it obvious we have multiple art examples for most of these artists. In the future, if its felt the gallery is too big, we could create fan pages for these artists and keep one example of their art on this page that links to their fan page. - Thanks! I don't really have any concrete ideas or opinions regarding this article. This isn't my ship but I found a fair amount of quality art that seemed worth adding. Another solution may be to create a subpage like Reylo/Extended Gallery where all the "overflow" art could be collected. - Also, I would support featuring multiple pieces by an artist in the main article gallery, as long as they represent specific tropes like mermaids, modern AU, etc. Most of the PandaCapuccino pieces featured here seem to be general shippy Reylo art, but there are some pieces that show how certain tropes are interpreted with this ship.
