Talk:Euphoria

Currently it looks like the page isn't about Euphoria fandom, but about One Direction fandom reacting to the television show. I recommend either that the pages be split--one page for the Euphoria fandom and one page for the wank--or if there isn't a Euphoria fandom that this page be renamed to something like One Direction Euphoria Fanfiction Controversy. If we go the separate page route, this page should be renamed to Euphoria. (It does look like there is a tiny fandom for it[1].) There are some categories on this page that don't make sense for a fandom overview page (date, scandals), but do make sense for a fandom occurrence page.--aethel (talk) 00:00, 15 July 2019 (UTC)

Hmmm, I'm not certain about splitting the two. I don't think it's a standalone event, since it's intricately connected to the show - we don't separate Sherlock fans' reaction to Elementary's casting controversy, for example. We can certainly see if anyone would like to add info about the fandom (I don't know much about it tbh), but I'm not convinced splitting the page because no-one has yet written about the fandom is the best idea. As an alternative to splitting, I can move the event categories to a redirect page so that a tv fandom overview page doesn't show up in date or scandal categories, which would be confusing IMHO. Is there a common name for the 1D fan reaction?--aethel (talk) 22:42, 16 July 2019 (UTC)
