Talk:AIM

I found a redlink, so I made a page. I remember it being a big social thing whether you used AIM or Y!M at one point, and the differences between what worked properly on Mac and on Windows were a major point of contention. The rise of programs like Adium that log you into as many chat services as you want at the same time and the various changes in AOL made a big difference, but I don't recall relevant dates offhand. Anybody remember more about who was using which programs? I know French speakers were using something else in the late 90s/early 00s. Franzeska 15:37, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
