Canon
Michonne and Andrea meet at the end of Season 2 when Michonne saves Andrea from walkers. They travel together over several months. At the beginning of Season 3 they are captured by The Governor's men and taken to Woodbury. Michonne and Andrea disagree about their next course of action, and Michonne leaves. She haunted by The Governor's men and wounded, she seeks refuge at the prison. When tensions arise between the prison and Woodbury Andrea tries to broker a peace between them. In the later half of the season when Andrea finds out that The Governor plans to torture and kill Michonne she tries to make it to the prison to warn her, but is captured. The Governor locks her in a room with a dying man. When Michonne and Rick's group go to Woodbury they find that Andrea has been bit. Andrea decides to end her own life, Michonne stays with her til the end.
