Can someone figure out how to rotate this and add this to the article? Mrs. Potato Head 03:41, 30 November 2009 (UTC)

file sizes

I think this high a resolution crosses over into art archiving rather than fair use of cover images. 1,588 × 2,126 pixel is not a small preview to document what the art looks like. This may even allow print reproductions, and I think the file size of images archived here should stay below that unless we have permission. I think if the full image had about the size of the current preview (i.e. 448 × 600 pixels) that would still allow to see the art with decent detail.--Ratcreature 09:18, 30 November 2009 (UTC)

I agree, no argument from me. I scanned it from my own zine, but don't know how to make it smaller. I wrassled with this project for about three hours last night. I had trouble with the scanner, ended up putting the scans on one computer, then transferring the 24 images of zines I have to a jump drive that didn't work on my laptop, transferred all that to another jumpdrive, transferred the back scans over, found out that some of them were too big right off the bat, tried making them smaller by taking a screenshot and then shrinking them (didn't work), pulled out my hair in great clumps, then gave up and went to bed. If anyone knows how to make it smaller, would you please do it? Or take it down. Mrs. Potato Head 13:30, 30 November 2009 (UTC)

P.S. This also goes for the other 23 covers I just put in. Too large? Probably. Can someone help? Mrs. Potato Head 13:45, 30 November 2009 (UTC)

I'll help with resizing. just give me a day. --FanloreFan 16:48, 30 November 2009 (UTC)

Thank you, [Name Redacted]. *sighs with relief* Mrs. Potato Head 17:01, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
OK, all done. I also went into the upload files and downsized a few of the other larger sized artwork that have been uploaded. I aimed more for how the files looked onscreen rather than absolute file size since the quality of scans and photographs varied (especially Dr Beth's photos of her zines which are, at times, in poor light). If you have other larger sized images you need resized just e-mail me. --FanloreFan 19:48, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
