Is there a new policy that says we need to be minimizing sexual assault/sexually explicit even smaller than 100px? Otherwise, we should stick with 100px.--Morgandawn 20:38, 29 November 2010 (UTC)

For some of them, they were still clearly visible at 100px (the sizing is to decrease visibility and let the text show "HERE BE DRAGONS" first). Only two or three, though, so I made them 50px. --awils1 20:42, 29 November 2010 (UTC)

I don't think we should be making new policy on image sizing given how sensitive the fan community is to subjective standards being applied to sexual/non con images (see the debate surrounding how the noncon templates were applied in the first place). This requires escalation to the committee before making a unilateral change (even if, as you point out, there are 'bits' visible at 100px). Perhaps if making the HERE BE DRAGONS text more visible is the goal, we can try bolding it.--Morgandawn 20:51, 29 November 2010 (UTC)

I just made a test edit to this image on the Out of Bounds page by making the warning text bold. Let me know if you think the warning is more prominent. The bolding is skating a bit too close to remaking the image template warning without community or committee input, but it might be an acceptable compromise until we hear more.--Morgandawn 20:57, 29 November 2010 (UTC)

PS. If you think it would help, we could leave this image minimized at 50px, so there is something to compare if/when the image resizing topic is re-opened to input. That way it is not so much us setting new policy, as us testing out new formats and offering examples.--Morgandawn 21:13, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
