Elite is a Spanish thriller teen drama streaming television series created for Netflix by Carlos Montero and Darío Madrona. The series is set in Las Encinas, a fictional elite secondary school and revolves around the relationships between three working-class teenage students enrolled at the school through a scholarship and their wealthy classmates.
The success of Elite led to a number of other Netflix shows focused on prestigious schools to be made and, due to the shared elements and some crossovers, there are indications that they may share a universe. As of March 2024, these have been Blood & Water, Class, and AlRawabi School for Girls.
